Starting August 1st, they’re opening their doors wider than ever before to invite you to become part of the ever-growing family of compassionate pet owners. This event is tailor-made for those looking to welcome cats and dogs into their homes. And that’s not all – if you have a heart for the larger, cuddly dog or a sweet older cat, we’re delighted to wave the adoption fees during this special time. No adoption fees mean a stress-free and affordable way to bring a new companion into your life.

Conveniently located at 2331 15th Street in Sarasota, the shelter is the place to be to find your next four-legged family member.

The Humane Society of Sarasota County is open Tuesday to Friday, from 10 am to 6 pm, and Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm. Finding your perfect furry companion has never been easier or more convenient.
