Douglas Jeep Chrysler Dodge RAM was honored to sponsor this year’s Blue Ties and Butterflies Event. On Wednesday, April 6th, Blue Ties and Butterflies took place at Michael’s on East in Sarasota. This incredible annual event benefits The Child Protection Center Event.

Blue Ties and Butterflies “has raised momentous awareness and support to our mission by ending the silence and secrecy of child abuse in our community.” Every year, our community comes together to raise awareness and help fellow community members.

The Child Protection Center “initially provided only child abuse intervention services through the Child Protection Team (CPT). This program works together with the Department of Children and Families and Law Enforcement in the investigation of child abuse cases and also coordinates community-wide services for affected children. Since then, CPC has grown to encompass four core programs offered in four offices across Sarasota & DeSoto Counties.” By raising awareness, this incredible program helps protect children in our community.
